Hello, and welcome to Luna Lotus Massage. My name is Jennifer and I'd like to share with you some of my background and education.
I am currently nationally certified as a Licensed Massage Therapist through NCBTMB, and locally in California, as a Certified Massage Therapist. I am also a Certified Aromatherapist and Spa Specialist. This allows me to address orthopedic and myofascial tissue challenges in clients, use therapeutic grade essential oils to enhance sessions, and give health and beauty treatments such as body brushing, scrubs, and mud wraps that can bring a sense of self care and well being to the body, mind and spirit.
In 2003 I suffered a severe soft tissue injury that hindered my daily activities, causing pain and loss of function all along my right side. I was directed by my neurologist to try massage therapy and was rewarded with a quick and dramatic recovery. It changed my life forever. I decided to go to school, continue to receive massage, and learn a trade that would help others experience new levels of health and wellness in their lives. I graduated from Ashmead College in November 2006, and have since enjoyed a exciting and fulfilling career. Everyday I learn something wondrous and new about the body, and the human spirit. While others discover that the limitations they once thought insurmountable, are absolutely within their reach.
It is my passion in life to help others find comfort and ease within their own bodies, at affordable prices. Together we can create a personalized session that addresses your needs. Incorporating focused, goal oriented massage, with relaxation techniques that promote the body's natural and powerful healing abilities, I hope to be part of your healing process and to grow and learn with you throughout our encounters. I highly encourage massage in your daily life whether for simple relaxation, or as an enhancement to other supplemental treatments, such as chiropractic care, physical therapy, or any medical issues addressing myofascial or orthopedic challenges including stress related dis-ease.
I look forward to the pleasure of meeting you soon.
Your in health,
Jennifer Penrod LMP, CMT
